Terms of Use

Welcome to Dogs4u (the "Service"). The Service helps dogs in Israel find a home. With it you can post a dog that needs a family, browse dogs for adoption and fostering, chat with posters and browse a directory of rescue organizations. By using the Service (at app.dogs4you.co.il, in the app or otherwise) you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use it

The Service is for people aged 18+ in Israel. Sign-up uses WhatsApp, email, a passkey or Google. You are responsible for access to your account and for activity in it.

2. Adoption only - no sales

• Dogs may be posted for adoption only. Selling dogs, charging for a dog or asking for payment in advance is prohibited.
• Rescue organizations may charge a transparent adoption fee as part of a proper process (vaccines, neutering, microchip), as permitted by law.
• Do not post other animals, puppies from commercial breeding, or dogs you are not entitled to rehome.

3. Your content

• You are responsible for the accuracy of details and photos and for having the right to post them. Upload photos of the dog only.
• No offensive, sexual, violent, misleading or illegal content, and no personal details of others without consent.
• You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your listing and photos in the Service and to promote it while the listing is up.
• Photos are checked automatically for inappropriate content; listings may be reviewed manually.

4. Chat and calls

Chat (text, voice notes, photos) and voice/video calls are for arranging adoptions. Harassment, threats, fraud, spam or asking for money are prohibited. You can block and report any user or listing in the app.

5. Enforcement

We may remove content and restrict, suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or the law, and where appropriate share information with authorities.

6. Liability

Dogs4u is only a connecting platform and is not a party to any adoption. We do not check dogs, their health or users, and are not liable for damage arising from an adoption, a meeting or posted information. Meet in a safe place, ask for vaccination records and microchip certificate, check municipal registration, and consider working with a recognised rescue. The Service is provided "as is" and may change or be unavailable from time to time.

7. Notifications ("barks")

If you enable notifications we send a bark when a dog is adopted and, if you choose, when new dogs are posted. You can turn this off in Settings at any time.

8. Ads

Ads may be shown in the future and will be labelled as such.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, design, code and marks belong to BOAZ GOLAN MANAGEMENT AND PRODUCTIONS LTD. Do not copy or use them commercially without permission.

10. Changes and law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, with exclusive jurisdiction to the competent courts of the Haifa district.
